So finally Samim did not complete the RAAM. He caught Pneumonia as he got drenched in rain at night. He did complete 800+ miles in 3 days and is determined to come back strong next year.
A bunch of us cyclists cycled to the Bangalore airport to receive him on the morning of Thursday, 24-Jun-2010. I coordinated with the airport authorities for logistics at the airport while Prabhakar Rao arranged for the media. Samim and family were very happy with the reception and we had a great time.
